Tiny Artists at Work: Hands-on Art for Early Development

What this session covers

Join us for an interactive art experience designed for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers!

Led by Ms. Laura, Founder of Kidcasso Art Studio, this hands-on session will introduce families to simple, sensory-rich art experiences that can be recreated at home using everyday materials. You'll learn how creative play supports your child's development while enjoying meaningful one-on-one connection time together.

During the workshop, we'll explore:

Fruit PaintingA colorful sensory experience where little artists mash fruits then glide, swirl, and paint across paper. Bring your own paper and fruit, and explore how beautiful watercolor-like designs emerge through movement and exploration. This taste-safe activity encourages sensory discovery, fine motor development, language skills, and early learning through play.

Baby-Safe Play Dough SculptureBabies and toddlers will squish, roll, pinch, poke, stack, and create using a soft, taste-safe play dough. This open-ended activity supports hand strength, sensory regulation, creativity, confidence-building, and early problem-solving skills, all while having fun together.

What You'll Learn

How art and sensory play support early development

Easy activities you can recreate at home

Ways to encourage creativity without focusing on the final product

Strategies for building connection, communication, and confidence through play

Please Come Ready to Participate!

This is a hands-on class, so we encourage you to have your child with you and your supplies prepared before we begin. Ms. Laura will guide families through each activity step-by-step and provide additional suggestions for materials and extensions.

Whether your little one is exploring textures, practicing new movements, or simply enjoying the process of creating, you'll leave with practical ideas, memorable moments, and a greater understanding of how play supports learning in the early years.
