Speak to Stand Out: How to Clarify Your Message and Grow Your Audience

Hosted by Gaux Team · 60 minutes

If you work in the perinatal space, you already know a lot. You’ve done the training, you’ve supported families, you care deeply about doing this work well. And yet, when it comes to speaking, teaching, or even posting online, it can feel like your message doesn’t always land the way you want it to. Not because you don’t know enough, but because your voice hasn’t been fully clarified.

What this session covers

If you work in the perinatal space, you already know a lot. You’ve done the training, you’ve supported families, you care deeply about doing this work well. And yet, when it comes to speaking, teaching, or even posting online, it can feel like your message doesn’t always land the way you want it to. Not because you don’t know enough, but because your voice hasn’t been fully clarified.

In our field, we’re often taught to prioritize accuracy and “covering all the information.” And while that matters, it can also lead to messages that are technically correct, but hard to remember, hard to share, and easy to overlook. This session is about shifting that.

We’ll look at how to take what you already know and communicate it in a way that is clear, grounded, and meaningful, so the families and professionals you’re speaking to can actually hear it, feel it, and use it. This isn’t about becoming louder or more polished. It’s about becoming more precise and more aligned in how you show up.

In this session, we will cover:

How to clarify your voice beyond your role or credentials

The three elements that shape a strong, trustworthy message: your knowledge, your lived experience, and your values

Why information alone often doesn’t change practice—and what does

Simple ways to communicate more clearly without overwhelming your audience

How consistency in your message builds trust over time

The role of relationships and connection in growing your reach within this field
